A dataset of all the known herbarium vouchered collection records of the tropical African legume genus Berlinia since 1773.

This dataset gathers all the known herbarium vouchered collection records of the tropical African legume genus Berlinia. For each record, the following data are collected : 1. Collector name, number and date of collection 2. Locality of collection, latitude/longitude 3. Species identification 4. Unique codes of herbaria to indicate where collection duplicates are deposited for reference 5. Phenology (flowering, fruiting or sterile) 6. Habit (including size and dbh where available) 7. Habitat (as recorded by the collector and with altitude where available) These data are used by RAINBIO project.
