Amazon Park of Guyana

Delimitation of the Amazon National Park of Guyana. A National Park is made up of one or more cores defined as spaces to be protected and an area of membership comprising all or part of the territory of the municipalities whose purpose is to be part of the National Park because of their geographical continuity or ecological solidarity. A National Park is the territory of all or part of one or more municipalities whose conservation of fauna, flora, biodiversity, subsoil, atmosphere, water and, in general, the natural environment is of special interest which it is important to preserve against any effect of natural degradation and to exclude it from any artificial intervention likely to alter its appearance, composition and evolution.
