Annual Theia OSO product on land use (depios 2016)

Theia’s Soil Occupancy Product (OSO) is an automatic land cover mapping obtained from satellite imagery (mainly Sentinel-2). This product offers an annual mapping of 17 classes of the whole of France for the years 2016 and 2017, and in 23 classes for 2018. An automatic processing line, iota² has been developed by CESBIO teams working on this chain to improve the product. The OSO product is available in raster format with a spatial resolution of 10 m (original format) and in vector with a spatial resolution of 20 m (obtained by filtering, vectorisation and simplification of the raster). The different vintages are available for download (whole France or by department), and the 2017 OSO vintage is available in WMS streams.
