Dataset description
SIRTAQUI lists natural sites.
The places which offer a particular interest by their fauna, flora, geology or landscape are recorded. Only sites open to the public are included.
There are national and regional natural parks, World Heritage sites (UNESCO), nature reserves, classified or inscribed sites, Natura 2000 or ZNIEFF. There can be sheets to describe a large geological complex (bath, estuary, delta, river or valley,...), a natural phenomenon such as the mascaret or the Belharra.
Type of natural environment: Dune, Forests, Cave, abyss, Island, Lakes, ponds, bodies of water, marshes, springs, mountain (pic, circus, pass,...), Rock, cliff, gorge, other type of natural site
