Archives 2013 — Information Perimeters of Population for Industrial Risks of Rhône-Alpes

DATA ARCHIVE 2013 CAMPAIGN Industrial establishments subject to a special PPI Intervention Plan (Seveso High Threshold Sites, Underground Chemical Storage and Base Nuclear Facilities) are required to inform riparian populations about major industrial risks every 5 years. Information to the public mainly results in the distribution of information brochures to the inhabitants of the municipalities concerned, setting out the industrial sites and instructions to be applied in the event of a major industrial accident. The layer contains, for each basin of impacted municipalities, the maximum hazard zone retained for each establishment concerned, which was used to define each basin, and the drafting of the information sheet distributed in 2013 to each outbreak in that basin.
