Area of presumption of the random movement of terrain in South Corsica.

This area is the result of the study of risk basins at risk of land movements and flooding carried out by the CETE Mediterranean in February 2008 for the DDE De la Corse du Sud for the presumption of hazard movements of the terrain (Eoulments and ravinements) in Southern Corsica The study aims to identify the municipalities of Southern Corsica sensitive to the risks of land movements and flooding with a view to producing a reference document to define a programming logic for future studies to be carried out. Mapping of the risks, challenges and risks resulting, at the departmental level, has made it possible to prioritise the municipalities at risk. The hazards are repeated for rocky landslides and ravines. The hazard is not quantified (low or strong) and requires the development of a specific geotechnical study to define the hazard level and confirm any protections to be put in place.
