Aggregation of generic tables describing the Noise Zones, for all terrestrial infrastructure, map type A, B and C.
‘Type A’ exposure maps Lden and Ln index:
These maps were made pursuant to Article 3-II-1°-a of the Decree of 24 March 2006. These are cards representing for the year of establishment:
— areas exposed to more than 55 dB(A) in Lden
— areas exposed to more than 50 dB(A) in Ln
They are in the form of isophone curves of 5 in 5 dB(A).
Map of areas affected by noise or “type B” maps:
These maps were made pursuant to Article 3-II-1°-b of the Decree of 24 March 2006. This is a map representing the “noise affected sectors” defined in the Prefectural Sound Classification Orders.
Limit values exceedance maps or ‘type C’ index Lden and Ln charts:
These maps were made pursuant to Article 3-II-1°-c of the Decree of 24 March 2006. These are maps representing areas where noise limit values are exceeded for residential, educational and health buildings. The limit values are 68 dB(A) in Lden and 62 db(A) in Ln.
Lden: sound level indicator means Level Day-Evening-Night. It corresponds to an equivalent 24-hour sound level in which evening and night noise levels are increased by 5 and 10 dB(A), respectively, to reflect greater discomfort during these periods.
LN: noise level indicator for the night period (22h-6h).
