Following storm Xynthia of February 27-28, 2010, IGN conducted several aerial photography campaigns on the affected areas. Approximately 9000 photographs covering an area between the Loire estuary and the Gironde estuary were taken between 17 March and 10 April 2010. Each shot covers an area of 3.4 km by 2.2 km, the coverage rate is 60 % longitudinal and 20 % vertical. For each shot we have the color shot (RVB) and the infra-red (IR) shot, the pixel resolution is 20 cm.
The map presented here allows you to:
— locate each of the shots and consult a lot of information on the conditions of their shooting
— download some of these images in RGB and/or IR.
To do this, zoom on a scale greater than 1/200 000th. The color points provide access to the download of three shots of the flight axis (n-click, n-2, n+ 2). N-1 and n+ 1 are not downloadable, as the sector they concern is also covered by the neighbouring clichés.
Click on the i button and then on the selected color point to access the information table containing the download URLs.
