Prefectural Order No 2018348-0002 of 14 December 2018 establishing noise maps for road infrastructure with annual traffic exceeding 3 million vehicles, in the Finistère department (3 rd deadline)
The purpose of these maps is to inform and sensitise the public about their exposure to noise pollution.
They shall provide the competent authorities with objective diagnostic elements to underpin future actions, in particular in the areas of excessive noise exposure.
4 cards are annexed to the Order:
— map type A Lden (link below)
— card type A Ln (present card)
— type C card Lden: overrun (link below)
— type C card Ln: overrun (link below)
Definitions:
— Type A = exposure/Type C = exceedance of the limit value
— Lden: noise indicator day, evening, night (level day evening night) on 24h
— LN: night noise indicator (22h-8h)
— The A Lden zones range from 55 dB(A) to 75 dB(A) and more by 5 dB(A).
— The A Ln zones range from 50 dB(A) to 70 dB(A) and more in 5 dB(A) steps.
— The Lden C zone is from 68 dB(A).
— The C Ln zone is from 62 dB(A).
