Dataset description
Index maps per municipality are produced automatically every day between 9am and 10am downstream of the ASPA Air Quality Bulletin. The input data used in grid form are gross predictions of concentrations, derived from uncorrected deterministic modelling of the PREVEST system at 3 km for the same day and the next day. Once the next-day estimates are captured by the ASPA forecaster in the bulletin, the gross forecasts are corrected using an inverse distance spatialisation of deviations. The day and next index values are then interpolated to the centroids of the Alsatian communes to be posted on the ASPA website.
