This layer is the acquaintance of Aléa 2100 of marine submersion for the Department of Ille-et-Vilaine with consideration of the rise of the sea linked to climate change.
Studies carried out in 2015 under the Flood Directive have drawn up risk maps which have been annexed to the Loire-Bretagne Basin Flood Risk Management Plan (PGRI Loire-Bretagne).
In the eastern part of the area subject to flood risk in Baie-du-Mont-Saint-Michel, knowledge of risk areas has since improved and has taken into account up-to-date knowledge of the protection works and the topography of areas that were under development at Couesnon level.
Based on these data, a knowledge of the marine submersion hazard was transmitted to the 6 coastal communes concerned on 19 September 2017: Pleine-Fougères, Roz-sur-Couesnon, Sougéal, St-Broladre, St-Georges-de-Gréhaigne and Val-Couesnon.
