Dataset description
Domain consisting of watercourses belonging to the State, local and regional authorities or their groups, and classified in their public river domain (DPF).
The delimitation of federal watercourses is determined by decree in the Council of State.
The public inland waterway domain (DPF) is managed mainly by Routes navigables de France (VNF), which is a public establishment of the State with an industrial and commercial character, thus governed by private law, partly by the Departmental Directions of the Territories (DDT), the Region, the Eurometropole de Strasbourg and the Departmental Council 67.
