During the phase of determining the stakes of the Audomarois Marais PPRi two types of space were defined in flood zones: urbanised Spaces (EU) and Non-Urbanised Spaces (ENU).
Urbanised spaces correspond to the sectors actually built or on which projects have been defined. In these areas, new constructions will be possible subject to compliance with the requirements of the PPRi. However, in areas where the hazard is most intense and in the precautionary bands behind the works, new constructions will be prohibited.
The Non-Urbanised Spaces correspond to little or little spaces (isolated habitat, small hamlets...) urbanised. The objective of the PPRi is to make these spaces inconstructible in order to preserve the capacity to expand the flood.
