Dataset description

In estuaries, the point of cessation of salt in waters constitutes the boundary between the scope of the regulation of maritime fishing and inland waterway fishing. The salt limit of the water of rivers, rivers and canals is determined by decrees of 4 July 1853 (for the North Sea, sleeve, Atlantic) and 19 November 1859 (for the Mediterranean). The amendment of one of these limits or the definition of a limit shall be effected by decree of the Prime Minister on the report of the Minister responsible for maritime fisheries in accordance with the Decree Law of 21 February 1852. The limit is decided after analysis of the salinity of the water in several points. source: —NR— vintage: 10/07/17
