Dataset Direct Download Service (WFS): Mountain hunting zone — Hautes-Pyrénées

Delimitation of the mountain area, specific for hunting. The mountain hunting zone is defined in accordance with the Prefectural Decree of 24/09/2004, as amended by the Prefectural Orders of 03/08/2007, 27/12/2007, 10/08/2016 and 07/06/2018. It corresponds to the habitat area of typical mountain species, as defined below: *isards, * grand-tetras, * lagooped, * mountain grey partridge, * marmot. It makes it possible to adapt cynegetic management to species, and can be modified according to the evolution of species biology. The result is: * specific dates of opening and closing of the hunt, * a ban on the introduction of game birds, in order to avoid genetic drifts, * a ban on dog training, unless specifically authorised. It is marked on the ground, maintained by the holders of the right to hunt.
