Dataset description
The orders for the protection of biotope concern natural habitats that are not exploited by humans and which contain non-domestic and/or floristic non-domestic species protected under Articles L. 411-1 and L. 411-2 of the Environmental Code.
The aim is to prevent the extinction of protected species through conservation measures for their biotopes: necessary for feeding, breeding, resting or survival, these biotopes may consist of ponds, swamps, marshes, hedges, groves, heaths, dunes, lawns or any other unmanaged natural formations.
