Dataset description
Since 1 January 2016, Paris and the communes of the departments of Seine-Saint-Denis, Hauts-de-Seine and Val-de-Marne as well as Argenteuil and the communes of Portes de l’Essonne constitute the Metropolis of Greater Paris. It was created following the law of modernisation of territorial public action and the affirmation of metropolises of 27 January 2014, known as MAPAM, which reorganises the allocation of powers between local authorities and redefines the common law regime of metropolises.
