Dataset description
The Water Planning and Management Scheme (SAGE) is a planning tool, established by the 1992 Water Act, aimed at the balanced and sustainable management of water resources. It aims to reconcile the satisfaction with the development of different uses and the protection of aquatic environments, taking into account the specificities of a territory.
The perimeter includes:
the municipalities concerned for the overall management of surface and groundwater
on the other hand, the municipalities concerned for groundwater management alone.
The list of municipalities in the perimeter is annexed to Decree No 2008-DDAF/3-77 of 4 April 2008 laying down the perimeter of the BH SAGE.
