The table L_QUARTIER_CUCS_2007_2014_075 delimits the areas covered by the Paris Social Cohesion Contract 2007-2009, extended until 31 December 2014. These neighbourhoods constitute the priority geography of the city’s policy in force in Paris from 2007 to 2014.
The Interministerial Committee of Cities on 9 March 2006 launched a new type of contract to take over from city contracts: urban Social Cohesion Contracts (CUCS). The aim was to provide a clear, readable and more operational framework for the combined action of local actors for the benefit of neighbourhoods in difficulty. Concluded for a renewable three-year period (2007-2009), these contracts have been extended until 31 December 2014.
The CUCS are based on four main principles: a pivotal partnership consisting of the state and the mayor, the unique contractual framework, a thematic prioritisation and an evaluation imperative.
