Dataset description

For natural PPRs, the Environmental Code defines two categories of zones (L562-1): risk-exposed areas and areas that are not directly exposed to risks but where measures can be foreseen to avoid exacerbating the risk. Depending on the hazard level, each area is subject to an enforceable settlement. The regulation of this RPP defines 2 areas: — Red zones (R) correspond to areas located in severe weather and non-urbanised areas, No matter the level of hazard (fields of expansion of floods to be preserved) In these areas, are not authorised that new constructions and developments directly related to management, maintenance and operation of space, subject to compliance with requirements to reduce their vulnerability and very limited extensions of existing buildings. A specific Ru zoning corresponds to the areas of strong hazard in the urban centre. In these areas, the replacement and measured extension of constructions may be permitted to the extent that they do not generate no significant increase in the vulnerable population and where new housing are designed in such a way as not to suffer any damage. — Orange areas (O): urbanised areas affected by medium or low risk where urbanisation is allowed provided that the vulnerability is not aggravated
