Dataset Direct Download Service (WFS): Road infrastructure classified according to their noise level in Haute-Savoie

Land transport infrastructure identified and classified according to their noise and traffic characteristics. The new classification of roads was developed by an acoustic engineering office on the basis of data provided by infrastructure managers.It has been the subject of consultation with the municipalities concerned by the sectors affected by noise in accordance with the regulations. On the basis of this classification, the Prefect determines, by order: (1) areas affected by noise in the vicinity of the identified infrastructure; (2) the sound levels that manufacturers are required to take into account for the construction of buildings included in those sectors; (3) The acoustic insulation of the facade required pursuant to the order provided for in Article R. 571-43 of the Environmental Code. The identification and classification of land transport infrastructure shall cover roadways with existing average annual daily traffic, or foreseen in the study or impact notice of the infrastructure project, exceeding 5000 vehicles per day, as well as TC’s own site lines with an average daily traffic of more than 100 buses.
