Dataset Direct Download Service (WFS): Scope of agri-environmental and climatic measures in Indre-et-Loire

Agri-environmental measures (AEM) are measures put in place in the European Union under the common agricultural policy, in return for payments to voluntary farmers. In France, MAETs are “territorialised EAMs” (e.g. in the natura 2000 zone). In 2013, the Strategic Analysis Centre (CAS) recommended an extension of the duration of contracts, as well as a generalisation of the territorialisation of EAWs2. From 2014 to 2020, to better take into account and reduce the negative climate effects of agriculture, but also its potential to improve carbon sinks or recover the methane it can produce from biomass of agri-food waste, for example, the EAFRD in Europe should be able to finance new “MAEC” (agricultural and climate measures)
