The government instruction of 3 June 2015 requires the State services to carry out a mapping of rivers in each department to facilitate the proper implementation of the water law as well as a guide to the maintenance of rivers.
This is the census issued on 5 July 2017.
The data was constructed from the hydrographic layer of the Topo BD and based on the field findings made by the DDT de la Marne and the French Biodiversity Agency in 2016 and 2017.
