DDT 48 — PNR VOLCANOES D’AUVERGNE, LIVRADOIS-FOREZ

A regional natural park is one of the protected natural areas (ENPs) which are designated or managed areas within an international, community, national or local framework for the purpose of achieving specific objectives of conservation of natural heritage.Regional natural parks aim to promote large areas of high natural cultural interest, and to ensure the sustainable development of these territories whose rural character is often highly asserted. They are created as a result of the desire of the local authorities (communities, communities of municipalities, departments, regions) to implement a territorial project concretising by the drafting of a charter. A park is labelled for a maximum period of 12 years by the State, and can be renewed.
