Dataset description
The French Guiana Water Board has undertaken a process of knowing the potential for small hydroelectricity for electrification of isolated sites.
In order to identify and characterise exploitable sites near settlement sites, ALTOA was commissioned to acquire LIDAR topographic coverage in about 30 sectors. The data produced is a set of numerical models of field, elevation and surface of watercourses.
This data set gives back the NEMs made in this context.
Since the number of slabs is too large to be distributed one by one, the latter have been merged by sectors and per acquisition lot.
A vector data set includes the right-of-way of the areas covered.
