All authorised dams of Class A, B, C according to Decree No. 2007-1735 of 11 December 2007 on the Safety of Hydraulic Works and the Standing Technical Committee on Dams and Hydraulic Works and amending the Environmental Code or previous regulations.
By Decree No. 2015-526 of 12 May 2015 and the introduction of the new competence for Management of Aquatic Environments and Flood Prevention (GEMAPI) attributed to the Public Establishments of Intercommunal Cooperation (EPCI) by the laws for the modernisation of territorial public action and the affirmation of metropolitan areas (MAPTAM of 27/01/14) and concerning the New Territorial Organisation of the Republic (NOTRe of 7/08/2015), this classification is led to evolve, with a change of classified object (endigue systems) carried by a GEMAPIENNE entity. The dikes forming part of the authorised containment systems are represented on the layer of containment systems (their classification under Decree No 2007-1735 of 11 December 2007 is repealed by the authorisation of the containment system).
The Instructors, the DDT(M,) will therefore be required, according to the new file filings, to classify new objects and the dykes classified under Decree 2007-1735 not included in the operative level will become obsolete, with effect from 1 January 2021 for dams in Class A and B and from 1 January 2023 for class C dikes.
To this set of classified works are added the dikes recorded on the Adour-Garonne basin, according to an estimate based on the rules of calculation of Decree No 2007-1735 of 11 December 2007. This census, together with the classified dikes, constitutes the inventory of technical support mission for the Adour Garonne basin, derived from the knowledge of the safety control service of the hydraulic structures of Occitanie dated 1 July 2018. It is therefore neither exhaustive nor completely precise, but nevertheless establishes a good state of play of the Occitan part of the Adour-Garonne basin, which should promote the constitution of future containment systems or hydraulic installations, according to Decree n°2015-526 of 12 May 2015.
