[DREAL OCCITANIA] Eolien Regional Schema Cancelled on 10-11-2017 (SRE) — Summary of the stakes in Languedoc-Roussillon

Indeed, the SRCAE and its annex, the SRE Languedoc Roussillon were annulled by the Cour administrative d’appel de Marseille on 10 November 2017: Nos 16MA00086, 16MA00094, 17MA03977. The Eolien Regional Schema (SRE) identifies at regional level the challenges to be taken into account for the development of wind projects and sets out qualitative recommendations and objectives to be achieved in terms of exploiting the energy potential for onshore wind by 2020. Here were defined parts of the territory where such development could be envisaged.
