As part of the development of the Regional Strategy for Integrated Management of the Coastal Treaty in 2018, typologies of coastal areas have been identified.
To define the typologies of coastal spaces, it was decided to choose a pragmatic method based on the mode of land cover, the configuration of the spaces, their sedimentary dynamics, knowledge and observation of the territories.
To this end, three categories of space and two concepts of urgency to act have been defined:
— natural spaces
— spaces with diffuse and/or moveable stakes
* with urgency to act, rated “priority 1”
* with less urgency to act, rated “priority 2”
— urbanised areas
* with urgency to act, rated “priority 1”
* with less urgency to act, rated “priority 2”
CTCRS makes the different ways of managing the score trait (monitoring, flexible management, hard management, immediate spatial recomposition) incompatible, compatible or recommended, depending on the sector typology.
