Mapped areas are wetlands to be confirmed by field surveys (abbreviation: “ZPT”).
These data, of a superficial nature, allow the “wetland issue” areas of the study area to be visualised and fall within areas likely to host an area saturated with water for a period of time long enough to have the characteristics of a wetland.
Based on the methodology used to identify them (no field survey of hygrophilic vegetation or soil), these areas are described very briefly.
This first level of knowledge comes from the collection, processing, analysis and synthesis of existing data and, in some cases, from the photo-interpretation of the study area.
These areas are derived from a recent Wet Zones pre-inventory, or an inventory Old Wet Zones (prior to 2008).
This regional compilation covered a limited number of successful fields:
— ZPT code
— Language of the ZPT
Code Corine land cover
— Label Corine land cover
— Probability of wetness
— Occupation of majority land
— Field visit: yes/No
— Comment
— Code of the study area
