The Reinforced Action Zones (ZARs) are constituted,
on the one hand, by the feeding basins for water abstraction for human consumption listed in the Register of Protected Areas which is attached to the Master Plan for Water Management and Management (SDAGE) and with a nitrate content of more than 50 mg/l and,
on the other hand, by basins experiencing significant green tides on the beaches listed in the SDAGE.
For feed basins for water abstraction intended for human consumption, the nitrate content of more than 50 mg/l shall be determined on the basis of the 90 percentile for at least the last two years. The precise identification and location of these areas, based on a list of municipalities from which parts of which may be excluded, are annexed to the regional action programme.
In the case of areas of enhanced action which are geographically close to each other, an extension of the areas intended to ensure the territorial coherence of the regional action programme may be carried out.
