This data standard concerns localised onshore wind data. It corresponds to the detailed specifications to be followed in order to establish a geographical database on the knowledge and development of the wind sector in France. These data should be used as part of the monitoring of the French policy for the development of onshore wind energy. This policy is developed and followed by a large number of local actors: regional and departmental services of the State, local authorities, concession companies and citizens. The DREALs have a coordinating role among the various stakeholders involved in the development of wind energy. The development of wind energy is carried out by means of regulatory tools whose location mode, business definition and main characteristics are provided in this standard Eolien terrestre:schéma regional wind, wind-friendly zones, administrative authorisations (historically: PC only, then PC + authorisation to operate ICPE, then single authorisation, and from 2017 environmental authorisation). The whole regulatory framework leads to the construction of wind turbines grouped into wind farms. These two entities are also part of this standard. This data standard does not deal with offshore wind domain. This data standard concerns localised onshore wind data.
