L' PDO, l' appellation d' Protected origin, corresponds to the #x27; appellation d’#x27; origin controlled at European level. C' is the name of a region, a specified place or, in exceptional cases, a country, which is used to designate an agricultural product or food originating in that region, place or country, of which: — the quality or characteristics are due primarily or exclusively to the geographical environment comprising natural and human factors, and — production, processing and production; elaboration take place in the defined geographical area.
