Hazard zones of forest fire risk prevention plans (PPRIF) in Ariège

This dataset includes the assembly of hazard areas of Ariège’s forest fire risk prevention plans (PPRIF). These hazard areas have been digitised in accordance with the national requirements of COVADIS. Areas exposed to the ‘Forest Fire’ hazard are shown on the hazard map used for the risk analysis of PPRIF. The hazard map is the result of the study of hazards, the objective of which is to assess the intensity of the hazard at any point in the study area. The assessment method leads to the delimitation of a set of areas on the study perimeter constituting a graduated zoning according to the level of the hazard. The allocation of a hazard level at a given point in the territory takes into account the probability of occurrence of the dangerous phenomenon and its degree of intensity.
