L’inventaire de la macrofaune benthique constitue l’objectif principal de ce travail. La couche vectorielle présente pour chacune des 45 stations :
- la richesse spécifique, S (nombre d'espèces);
- les valeurs de densité, D (ind./m²);
- les valeurs de biomasse, B (g/m²);
- l'indice de Shannon, H' (bits) traduisant la structure du peuplement en prenant compte la répartition plus ou moins équitable des densités entre les espèces;
- l'indice de Piélou, J' (%) complétant l'indice de Shannon;
- l'analyse de la structure trophique.
