Dataset description
KaruCover is the 2-dimensional land use map of the Guadeloupean territory for the years 2010 and 2017. It qualifies the different types of spaces (urban, agricultural and natural) according to two dimensions (the cover of the soil and the use of the land) and allows to follow the territorial dynamics. The ground cover is a physionomic view of the land (forest, built...). Land use (or function) is an anthropogenic view (habitat, activities...). Two-dimensional land use KaruCover 2017 is the benchmark for 2017. The product meets the “OCSGE” standards of the National Council of Geographic Information (CNIG).
