Representation of the contours of the 116 soil mapping units (also known as UCS or child landscapes) of the Côtes d 'Armor.
Each UCS, consisting of one or more polygons, is defined as a portion of landscape in which soil genesis factors (parental material, morphology, climate, soil occupancy) are homogeneous. This layer of information is part of the Regional Sodological Reference (1/250 000)
__Origine__
The delimitation of the pedestal landscapes of the Côtes d 'Armor was carried out on the basis of the cross-section of available information on the department (geology, relief, geomorphology, land tenure, soil data). This s' is pressed by l'IGN tracking data: scan25, BDOrtho, Route500).
The whole methodology is detailed in the final report of the Sols de Bretagne programme (Lemercier, 2010) available on the website www.sols-de-bretagne.fr, section " Download ", " Synthesis reports ".
