Land use in Activity Areas
Economics, according to OZAR.
Classification of types of land cover:
Road: all the structural tracks of the EAA (road, intersection, roundabout) identified on the ortho BD. Seizure
is done from the cadastre DGI. If portions are not cadastral: grabbed by hand.
NB: For many areas of the SCoTs of Beaujolais and the Agglomeration Lyonnaise, the road has been seized entirely
by hand. Its right-of-way is then much lower than for the areas for which the cadastre has been used.
Railways: right-of-way surfaces of the rail network. The seizure is made from the DGI cadastre.
Rivers: areas occupied by rivers (rivers, rivers). The seizure can be made from the DGI cadastre
(especially for streams that are difficult to see on ortho cD). If the cadastre does not identify in a way
satisfying important surfaces such as rivers (shift from ortho cD): grabbed by hand.
Built: surfaces with a building visible on the ortho cD. The seizure is made from the DGI cadastre. The ortho comics
remaining the repository, buildings identified by DGI and not visible in the aerial photo are deleted. The
buildings visible and not listed by DGI are entered by hand.
Retention basins: surfaces corresponding to retention ponds identified on the ortho cD.
Storage: areas exclusively dedicated to outdoor storage of all kinds (containers, aggregates, etc.),
identified on the ortho cD.
Unoccupied spaces: land not occupied by an activity (wooded or unwooded natural land, wasteland, wasteland, etc.).
There are no work in progress on these spaces. This land may eventually be occupied in the future.
(new activity or extension of activity). They are identified from the ortho cD.
Spaces in transition: surfaces on which work takes place and is visible from the ortho cD.
Equipment: areas dedicated to equipment for the proper functioning of an area (private roads, car parks, small
green spaces), extensions of activities (airplane traffic platforms at St-Exupéry airport, equipment
EDF,...). By default, these are surfaces that do not appear in any of the previous classes.
