On 1 January 2015, by application of the MAPTAM Law of 27 January 2014, Rennes Métropole was transferred the road competence previously exercised by the municipalities.
On 1 January 2017, on the basis of the NOTRe law of 7 August 2015, the Métropole was transferred the road authority previously exercised by the department over the departmental roads of the 43 municipalities of the Métropole.
This competence covers the public domain of roads and its dependencies.
To ensure its competence, particularly in the field of exploitation, the Métropole has been structured around 4 Platforms called Platform Rennes, Platform Sud, Platform Nord-Ouest and Platform East.
The layer “mobilte_transp.v_gestion_dv_commune” indicates, for each municipality:
— comite_sect => name of the sector committee to which the municipality is attached;
— nuquart => number of the Ville de Rennes district;
— nmquart => name of the district Ville de Rennes;
— dir_quartier => name of the District Directorates of the City of Rennes;
— For DVE (Operational Roads):
>> dve_platform => name of the operating platform;
>> tel_dve => platform secretariat telephone number;
>> dve_sect_entrep => business sector name;
>> dve_techn_entrep => name of the technician referring to the business sector;
>> dve_sect_regie => name of the operating area on time;
>> dve_techn_regie => name of the technician referring to the over-the-counter operating area;
>> dve_chef_equip_regie => name of the team leader referring to the over-the-counter area of operations;
— For DVPAT (Heritage Highways Directorate):
>> dvpat_techn => name of the reference technician
>> tel_dvpat => telephone number of the reference technician;
— For DVGTS (Directorate Roads Management Traffic and Security):
