Dataset description

In 22 departments, the regulations (Article L 424-5 of the Environmental Code) have endorsed traditional practices for hunting water game. Such hunting may be carried out at night from fixed posts such as huts, huts, tons or gabions if they existed on 1 January 2000 and have been declared to the prefect under conditions laid down by the regulations.The prefect shall issue a post number.The declaration procedure, in accordance with Article R. 424-17 of the same Code, provides that the declaration shall be accompanied “by a description of the fixed post, together with the cadastral designation of the land where the fixed post is located or its location on the public domain”.
