Map Viewing Service (WMS) of the dataset: Perimeters of the Prefectural Orders for the Protection of Geotope (APPG) of Ile-de-France

In each department, the Prefect may draw up a list of sites of geological interest prohibited from destruction, alteration or degradation of the site, as well as the collection, destruction or degradation of fossils, minerals and concretions present at those sites (Decree No. 2015-1787 of 28 December 2015). In order to protect the sites of geological interest included in this list, the Prefect may also take any specific measures such as to prevent their destruction, alteration or degradation, by order specific to a site. This geographical layer defines the sites covered by these specific measures, known as geotope protection areas.
