Title: Site of Conservatory of natural spaces in Pas-de-Calais Description: A Natural Space Conservatory Site (SCEN) is one of the protected natural areas (ENPs) which are designated or managed in an international, Community, national or local context with a view to achieving specific objectives for the conservation of natural heritage.Conservatoires of natural areas contribute to the preservation of natural heritage and landscape through land control or control over the use of a network of sites. Depending on the local characteristics, regional conservatories and departmental conservatories are distinguished. As part of the national database on protected areas, only sites fully acquired and/or for long-term rental (emphyteotic lease and contract over 30 years) are taken into account. These are sites for which the Conservatoires have full land control. They are classified as IUCN’s Ia, III, IV, V or VI categories (according to regulations and management objectives established).Legal References: Articles L414-11, D414-30 and D414-31 of the Environmental Code.
