Dataset description

For natural PPRs, the environmental code defines two categories of zones (L562-1): risk-exposed areas and areas that are not directly exposed to risks but where measures may be foreseen to avoid exacerbating the risk. Depending on the hazard level, each area is subject to an enforceable settlement. This PPR defines 2 types of zones: — red zone corresponding to urbanised areas located in strong hazard and non-urbanised areas, regardless of the level of hazard (flood expansion fields to be preserved). In these areas, only new constructions and development directly linked to the management, maintenance and operation of space, subject to compliance with requirements to reduce vulnerability as well as very limited extensions of existing buildings. It is subdivided into 3 sub-areas: — UK: strong hazard area in urban centre — RD: zoning of the hazard study produced by Constellium and validated by the Prefect on 5 January 2015 — R: other red zone — orange zone corresponding to the urbanised territories affected by a medium or low hazard where urbanisation is allowed provided that the vulnerability is not aggravated
