This set of data presents the results of a method developed by the State services of the Conseil Régional d’Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (Region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) to measure the consumption of agricultural space between 2 years.
A geographical layer known as the agricultural differential of agricultural islands that have been reported to the CAP at least once and then lost a subsequent year is calculated from the RPG Graphical Parcellar Reference between two dates. The islets of the agricultural differential are then qualified from various sources (MAJIIC land files, BDTopo) to assess whether the islet is artificialised or not.
Finally, the sum of the areas of the differential islands qualified as artificialised constitutes an indicator of the loss of agricultural space between two dates. This indicator can be calculated from the municipality to the region. The methodology was developed in 2012 based on the work of DDT74 and a first calculation was carried out at the regional and 8 department level to achieve annual average consumption between 2006 and 2011.
The products delivered by the method are as follows:
1- Geographical layer of the agricultural differential between 2 dates
2- Tabular layer of qualification of each object of the agricultural differential
3- Tabular layer of the average annual loss of agricultural space per municipality
