The DDRM (the Departmental Major Risk File) is a document where the Prefect
(Pursuant to Article R125-11 of the Environmental Code) records all
key information on major natural and technological risks at the
its department, as well as on the preventive and safeguard measures provided for
limit their effects. In clarifying the concepts of hazard and major risk, the DDRM must
identify all the municipalities at risk in the department, in which information
prevention of populations must be carried out.
