New-Aquitaine: Natura 2000 — Special Protection Areas (SPAs) — Perimeters (surface)

This dataset contains Special Protection Areas (SPAs), New Aquitaine Region These areas are part of the Natura 2000 network of Community areas for the protection of priority habitats and species. Special Protection Areas (SPAs) are sea and land sites that are particularly suitable for the survival and reproduction of wild bird species listed by the Minister responsible for the environment or which serve as breeding, moulting, wintering or relaying areas for migratory bird species. NOTE: the perimeters distributed via these DREAL local layers are the most up-to-date from the point of view of the progress of the sites (ecological diagnosis carried out, DOCOB validated), but not all have been officially validated by the European Commission (designation in progress).
