Article R571-33 of the CDE states that ‘The identification and classification of land transport infrastructure shall cover roadways whose average annual daily traffic, or provided for in the impact assessment of the infrastructure project, is more than 5,000 vehicles per day, interurban rail lines providing an average daily traffic of more than fifty trains, as well as lines on own-site public transport and urban railway lines with an average daily traffic of more than 100 buses or trains’.
