Surface objects (axis) affected by the noise of road and rail infrastructure in the composition of strategic type B noise maps of the Côtes d’Armor department.
In accordance with the Prefectural Orders (cited below) and Article R571-32 of the Environmental Code, road infrastructure (traffic > 5000 vehicles/day) is classified into 5 categories according to the noise level they generate, category 1 being the noisest. A noise-affected area (from 10 to 300 m) is defined on both sides of each classified infrastructure. These sectors must be reported on the graphic annexes of the Local Urban Planning Plans and the Local Urban Planning Plans (PLUI).
