Dataset description
In accordance with the transposition of the European Directive 2002/49/EC on the assessment and management of environmental noise (Decree No 2006-361 and Decree of 4 April 2006), noise maps must be drawn up for major road infrastructure with more than 6 million vehicles per year, i.e. an annual average daily traffic (TMJA) of more than 16400 vehicles per day.
Sections of roads with traffic exceeding 16400 vehicles per day are covered by the Directive.
