This data on coastal space usefully complements the information available in other national databases. It is a “reference state” to monitor the evolution of coastal environments and to assist in the implementation and then spatial assessment of the Coastal Law.
These data can also feed into planning reflections (director schemas, territorial planning directives, etc.) and allow for the assessment of the impacts of large linear or port infrastructure facilities.
Produced by photo-interpretation of the coastal orthophotograph created on the basis of the CIADT decision of 28/02/2000. The air mission to Aquitaine dates from 2000.
Please note: this data covers only the perimeter of the former Aquitaine.
