The Rhône-Alpes and Auvergne Weather Plan (PIRAA) provides for the identification of singular points;
these are spot areas on the main roads of the South-East zone with remarkable winter characteristics.
These places are classified according to three qualities: passes, ramps and particularly snow-covered areas.
In Rhone-Alpes and Auvergne, within the framework of the PIRAA, 27 singular points are identified.
